About our tournament

Who We Are:

The Valley's Premiere and Largest Charity Hold 'Em Tournament

The Harrisonburg Lions’ Club has hosted the Hold’Em Open Tournament since 2008.  In the short time since its inception the tournament has raised over $25,000 for local and national sight and hearing charities.  One hundred percent of the money raised from participant’s entry fees goes to Lion’s Club designated charities.  This money has helped fund local sight and hearing charities including hundreds of eyeglass for local residents, donations to Talking Books and Valley Voice (local services for the blind), regional Mobile Sight and Hearing Screening Unit, and the Virginia Sight First Foundation.  One hundred percent of entry fees go to charities.

The tournament this year will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020, beginning promptly at 10:00 a.m. at a Spotswood Country Club. Registration begins at 9am.
Our previous tournaments have sold out, so register early and remember that registration is not complete until payment is received.

We love our sponsors!

We are only able to do this tournament and provide so much to local and national sight and hearing charities through the generous donations from our sponsors.
